MOTHER NATURE WINS
THIRD IN A ROW, TAKES POINT LEAD
WEST LEBANON, NY – Only
a handful of drivers have been successful enough to win three weeks in a row at
Lebanon Valley Speedway let alone a woman. Mother Nature has done just that. For
the third consecutive Saturday she was the winner at the West Lebanon race
facility.
Sheldon
Oil Services located in Nassau, NY and Automatic Load Cover of Torrington, CT
were scheduled to sponsor the evenings racing program. Saturday’s program was
to include all the regular divisions along with 358 Modifieds.
Lebanon
Valley owner Howard Commander commented, “This has been one of the hardest
years I can remember weather wise. It just doesn’t seem like we can catch a
break on Saturday’s.” Asked about the possibility of making up any of the
cancelled events during the week Commander said, “We have done that in the
past but with the kids still in school it’s hard to put on a mid-week show
right now.”
Saturday
June 14th Key Bank and Heavy Haulers will present a full night of
racing including a men’s Cannonball. Gates will open at 5pm with racing at
6pm. General admission adult tickets are $9 with Kids under 12
“Just-A-Buck”.
The
next special event on the schedule is “The Eve of Destruction III” on
Tuesday June 24th. This fun-filled night will include all sorts of
destruction and extreme stunts and excitement. Tickets are only $12 for Adults
and $5 for Kids under 12.
